So I don't wanna pay to much cause I'd only use if for gaming, the games I would play are Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth and Day Z. So it's nothing like COD. I would just want a computer that will reduce lag and a computer that is fast (or even moderately fast).

Also, is an HP Pavillion a good computer for gaming?

Edit:
I have an HP Pavillion, and for some reason it won't turn on. What I mean by that is whenever I plug the charger in, it doesn't charge. One day I was using it, and for some reason I tried connecting the charger and the computer wouldn't charge. I'm pretty sure the battery was in good condition, because while I was charging my computer. It just suddenly stopped. How do I fix it without someone having to fix it? What should I do?
If I can't fix it, I plan on just throwing it away, but how can I make sure that someone won't somehow fix it and get all the information on my laptop?

Another question, is this a good gaming computer? (http://www.shopping.hp.com/en_US/home-office/-/products/Laptops/HP-2000/C2X98AV?HP-2000z-2c00-Notebook-PC) In the customize section it allows you to customize the processor and graphics, so if I have the AMD Dual-Core Processor E2-2000 + AMD Radeon(TM) HD 7300 Series Discrete-Class Graphics processor and graphics card put in, will it make the computer good at gaming and stuff like that? Does the processor and graphics make games good?

The common misconception is that you need a 'gaming computer' to play games. This is incorrect. Alienware, Maingear, Razer and MSI all make 'gaming laptops', their portablity has a advantage over desktop gaming PCs. But lack in components upgrades that a desktop will have.

AMD Dual-Core Processor E1-1200 -- nothing crazy amazing, 1.4Ghz isnt amazing.
AMD Radeon(TM) HD 7300 - Again, nothing crazy... but it will do the job. You wont be able to run high detail.
4GB Ram - that will be sufficient

But being completely honest here, you wont be surprised. It just doesnt have the CPU or GPU power.

For under $700??? Ya no, any laptop under $1000 will have a hard time running almost any games, the only laptops that truly run games well are from boutique dealers like Maingear and they cost upwards of $2000.

Save up your money till' $900 and build a desktop PC, that is the best way to play games.
