Ive been "depressed" for a few months continuously now. I dont want to be depressed so i kind of just say im in a bad mood but this bad mood has been constant since october. My counselor and friends say im depressed, and i have told 3 close friends that ive tried to kill myself and they all ask why. Nothing else. The first thing they ask is why and i never have a good enough answer. I feel like i need a reason behind all of this and it makes me feel worse, like im just sad for no reason.

Im going to see a psychiatrist on wednesday at my school so hopefully they will help me figure some stuff out.

No one is sad for no reason If your suffereing from depression it's not your fault it has to do with a chemical imbalance in the brain. You talk about going to see a psychiatrist and thats good becuase together you can find some answers to whats going on. Just remember that suicide is a permanent souloution to a tempory problem and there is no do overs once you take that final step. Stay strong ok

Tell us how it goes, I'd love to hear how this ends up. I want you to know that I'm cheering for you, that you're not depressed. I hope that you're just feeling down, and that you don't actually have depression. You can be happy :) There is something or someone that will make you happy. You're down I get that, and you feel sad, but this will pass. Even if you are depressed, it won't last forever. It will get better, if you need someone to talk to, post on my wall and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Depression doesn't necessarily have a "why". It's all about how your brain manages serotonin. I'd suggest doing some research on clinical depression. Learn all you can. And be active in your therapy. You only get back what you put in, and therapy is damned hard work, but, it's worth the effort. I wish you the best, and if I can help you in any way, I'd be more than willing to do that.

Don't look for a reason why you are depressed because you will put yourself in a deeper hole trying to find it. Just look for something that makes you happy
