I'm in Year 10 (9th grade) and I normally wear briefs but at school I'm afraid of what others might think so I wear boxers. But I want to start wearing briefs into school. What should I do?

If that's what u like then go with it. If this is your choice then don't worry about others will think, if they laugh don't let it bother u idk why they would laugh. I might suggest boxer briefs or athletic underwear they give support as well. Do what is comfortable for u.

I mean, they must be pulling people's pants down to get a look at what is being worn! That's assault. The teachers should be doing stuff to stop this total nonsense.

I wear briefs, even white ones, sometimes I get laughed at but that's what I have so I wear them. My friends are cool with them. If I'm someplace where I don't know the kids, I might pull both my briefs and pants off at the same time. No one see's that way and it's cool.

What wierd if our school has speedo style swim suits and everone wears them.

if you're in year 10 other guys in your year will be wearing briefs, trust me, but if you're that uncomfortable with it, then don't wear them on P.E days... guys won't be looking, unless someone has a crush on you or something.. and no one will notice anyway

No one in my year wear briefs besides me (they don't know that) and the changing rooms are just two rooms for like about 40-50 boys and they tend to throw stuff around

If you find them uncomfortable there are plenty of other types of underwear you can try, I think you're best sticking to boxers but have you tried wearing briefs under your boxers?

Dude, I had the same problem. I wore briefs, but I didn't want to get made fun of. I tried boxers, but hated them. Then I tried boxer briefs and man, let me tell you, I'm glad I did. I seriously suggest you try boxer briefs. I loved briefs because of the tightness and support and boxer briefs give you the exact same thing! They are essentially just like briefs, except they are longer like boxers.

It took me a little bit to get used to the boxer briefs simply because I was just so used to briefs, but dude, they are worth it. Best underwear period. They give the support like briefs and the style of boxers. You get the best of both worlds. And trust me, you won't get made fun of for wearing them. They are definitely very popular now and a lot of guys wear them.

You could always wear boxer-briefs their just as comfortable as briefs. But go ahead and wear briefs. Why would they make fun of you, it just shows that they were looking at your underwear they should be more embarrassed than you. You shouldn't worry what they would think. Wear what you think would be more comfortable for you and what you like.

trunks/boxerbriefs are a good compromise, that's why I wear them. If these guys try to bully you with that, ask them in front of everyone why they are so interested in other guys undies lol ;)

personally, guys got made fun of at my school for wearing briefs, so i mean i dont like how they feel so i wouldnt wear them anyways, but i mean it kinda sucks because even if i did like them the bullying would convince me not to... so i mean hopefully you are really confident and dont care what others think, if thats the case then wear briefs, but if you just want to more or less fit in then go with something else, it sucks that people cant wear the underwear they want.

I've worn briefs all my life until thanksgiving last year and I'm a senior in high school...no one has ever said anything to me. I switched to boxer briefs and I think they're awesome. But the only advice I can give is if you can, get changed with friends and always be in a conversation because it might be harder for the bullies to try and start something.

I'd say that if you are going to wear briefs on a PE day try to find somewhere where no one else is (e.g bathroom, shower etc.) Otherwise wear boxers or boxer briefs. But on other days wear what you like.

I've always worn briefs mostly white ones. Around my friends I didn't mind if they saw me, they mostly had the same. When I went to a different school I knew few people and when PE started I felt funny changing cuz most didn't wear briefs. I did'nt like the feel of boxers so I just asked if I could buy some colored briefs. Wear them to school, otherwise I wear white.

It seemed that everyone at my old school wore boxers. Everyone usually wears briefs here. So from personal experience just make a schedule. On non gym days were briefs. On gym days wear boxers. However it's your option of clothing so it's not nice for them to bully you about it. Hope I helped somewhat!

boxer briefs are a good compromise, thats why I wear them. though I still wear briefs. But if they annoy you with that, ask them loud in front of everyone why they are so interested in your underwear ;)

Unless you play a sport, nobody should see your underwear. Even if they do, there are only about 3 types of men's underwear, so you can't be abnormal with whichever you wear.

If you really are worried about what others are gonna think then maybe Boxer-Briefs would be a good halfway point? (Ynow the boxers that are stretchy and tight) But i really dont think many people will care. But iff you do wear briefs, to avoid getting laughed at, maybe get briefs with a popular brand along the waistband? Like calvin klein ect...

While from a social standpoint your underwear type doesn't matter, you should consider just switching to boxers because they're better for you in the long run if you want to have kids.
