Do any of you (namely with divorced parents) feel like you're on your own, or even want to live on your own?

I'm sick and tired of this, my family life, and despite what one parent thinks about the other, they're both stupid, they both have their major faults, it's just ridiculous seeing my parents act like such...kids.

I don't want to run away, I just want this BS to stop.

I want to live on my own soon, but just because I'm an introvert and highly value my privacy. I love my mom to death and everything, I just have days where I need to be alone and can't. As far as my parents' divorce, it really has no affect on me. My mom tries to be mature about it, and even when she isn't, everything she says is true.

I would love to move away from my house due to the amount of shouting an screaming produced by my siblings and parent. But I live in a poor family and I would feel guilty due to the fact that I left my little bro and mum to deal with my older siblings.

I'm moving out on 4 months, I've had enough of my family for a lifetime, it'll be great to finally leave.

You got emancipated? Don't you have to have like a full time job, plus a lot of money saved up?

I'm really enjoying being out on my own. I never really had a dysfunctional family or anything. My parents were great, but at times I felt like I needed my space. We got along but not at all levels, and it played a huge step in my maturity too.
I don't think it's quite right to judge your parents like that.. they're probably meaning the best for everyone.
Family life is never easy. You're forced within a confined, intimate space and to get along with each other almost every day of your life. Sometimes things don't always click..
I don't know what to say though. Being on your own forces you to be more mature and a little social too :)

Id love to be on my own. In the house there are just too much arguments, screaming is now a daily routine. And for everyone except dad, there is no such thing as privacy or freedom, or even rights.
