So I went to my uncles house, and me, my dad, my uncle, and some of his friends were there eating when I got asked "Do you have a girlfriend?" And I said "No" then they asked "Why?" So then I said IDK. Then they asked me "Are there any girls at your school you like?" And then that's when I started blushing really bad, when they saw that they said "Ohhh he's blushing! Alright we'll stop with the questions." Was that weird that I blushed over something like that? I just hate talking about girls I like to my parents. Even in general I feel uncomfortable about it. Anyone like this? Is it normal?

I don't blush often but I hate talking about anything personal with my parents as well. They're always asking me about girls and it gets really annoying/ embarrassing. I don't like talking about anything private like that with them. That's definitely a situation where blushing is acceptable lol.

I'm exactly the same i hate talking about emotion and feelings with family. I also blush but everyone finds it hilarious so I'd say it was quite a normal situation.

that same thing happened to me when i was younger but the problem is that when i blush my whole face goes like red. it was really funny for everyone when that happened and i actually blush in a lot of situations. when i used to talk with my parents about girls and stuff i would easily blush. thats one of the things i didnt like to share with them. theres certain things people are not comfortable sharing with their parents and thats completely normal.

It's totally normal. It happens to me. Any kind of questions about my love life makes me uncomfortable, but I have social anxiety, so my experience might be a bit bias, but yes, I would have blushed too.

Good thing about dark skin, can't see if you're blushing. My parents never ask about stuff like that, only if me or my sister bring it up on each other which is just for the lols.

I'm not that pale so I don't really blush... and actually it's more awkward for me when they ask, "Hey, do you have any cute or pretty girls in school that you like?" and I just go deep inside, "Well I'm bi so yeah..."

your response was normal and it sounds like they were teasing you more than just asking about your social life. Maybe the best way to have handled that situation would have been to use sarcasism and turned the conversation back on them. Thats what I ussually do when my parents would ask about my social life.

But I'm like this with everything related to growing up, like I haven't worn shorts in front of my family since I was in 5th grade, just because of leg hair.
