ok, for the past month or so, I try to go to facebook, and i get this page. It's facebook, but it's got some terrible formatting problems. It doesn't do this for any other site, and i've tried multiple browsers.

I guess it may be a problem with your internet. Happened to me before, and went away after a day. Or maybe this would work.
Down for everyone or just me? (http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/)

Try a different browser and check for any browser add ons which may be causing problems.

i've tried safari too, same problem.
Clearing the cache didn't work.
I've turned off all extensions.
It works on other computers on the same network.
It doesn't work on other accounts on the same computer as well.
I've tried restarting the computer multiple times. (it's an IMac, not my personal fav tho...)

Facebook occasionally works for 5-10 minutes every 2 hours or so.
this is really stupid.

YES YES I GOT IT!!!
This is really interesting so hear this.
After 3 hours of INTENSE experimenting with my dad (who is a computer boss) it turns out that the issue originated not through keychains, or malware, or plugins, or cookies, or Facebook itself, or my profile settings, or anything!
IT WAS APPLE'S PARENTAL CONTROLS!!!!!!
Back in the day when I was a little squirt, my dad put on parental controls for my account, then later he disabled the "hide profanity" option so i could... well... yknow... :D
But he left it on either way, even with no restrictions.
So after the wild goose chase, we traced everything back to the parental controls.
We turned it off, and everything worked fine.
(It turns out that another site wasn't working as well. A site that my school has to post announcements and HW and stuff.)
__
Apple sucks at making parental controls work well.

Glad it's finally fixed! :D
