Partial Circumcision

Hi all,

I know that I was circumcised at birth and have no regrets (This is NOT a cut vs. uncut thread), but I believe it might've been a partial circumcision. I have seen many pictures of circumcised men online and their foreskins are non existent or just a very small ring of skin. My foreskin, while I'm soft, covers 60%-100% of my penis if I let it.:eek: My frenulum is not intact (meaning that somebody did cut something), and so if I want, I can completely retract my foreskin while soft and it will stay there :yes:. While hard, my foreskin retracts completely, but I can completely cover the head with my foreskin. I actually use my foreskin on my head when I jack off.

So, to my question...

Is this a partial circumcision (e.g. they cut the frenulum but not the foreskin)? I was cut in the hospital (not in a ritual), and therefore have reason to believe this. Or, do I just have a large and stretchy foreskin remnant?

As I said, I'm very happy with my status as cut or even partially cut, and don't want a debate about that, just some perspectives on what I might have. Thanks!:)

My parents never told me anything about my tool. I learned I was different the first day at camp when I had to change for swimming. Everyone looked at each others stuff and I saw mine was different and so did they. Everyone wants to look if they never saw that type before.

It's sorta cool.

I've only seen a couple more like mine, and each one was different, like the tip showed on one, while the other was half covered. Mines totally covered with a tube over the tip.

I could be that they only removed your overhang. I myself was circumcised at birth but I have whats called a loose circumcision. My head is exposed but I have alot of bunching behind my head when im soft and my scar is hidden in the bunching. I can cover all when soft but it recedes if I let go. Erect I can cover 1/4 to 1/2 depending on how erect I get. I also have my frenulum and I too jerk off like you side using my remaining skin. Drs. have to guess as to how much foreskin the remove when they circumcise you at birth so you might have just gotten lucky. Maybe ask your parents if they requested you be partially circumcised if you feel comfortable in asking them.

Im not sure it's a style or just the way your particular doctor does circumcision. Plus the infant penis is very small so any differences in how the circumcision is done could produce different degrees of tightness or looseness. Also, sometimes a "grower" will have a loose look when flaccid but might even out when erect.

Did your parents confirm to you that you were circumcised? Some foreskins are naturally short, with maybe 25%-50% coverage (one of my cousins has this), and I suppose there is a chance you fall in that category. I have read about cases where only the overhang (pointy part) is removed at birth and when the penis grows in puberty, the glans starts to come out and resemble a circumcised penis. That's what I know.

Yes, they've confirmed that I was circumcised. I just don't know if it was full or partial.

Yes mine is the same. I love it! You get the cleanliness or being cut and the pleasure of being uncut.
My parents told me (actually I eased dropped) that during my circumcision they didn't cut far enough down. So now I'm a partial and I am not complaining!

I too was partially cut in hospital as a baby.
I also use my foreskin when I start wanking.
I too am pleased with my "equipment".

This is all very cool info. I wonder, if I have a son, can I request a partial circumcision? I hope so. It really is great equipment to have.
