I'm a tall guy. Like seriously. And since I was a young boy, my dad really wanted to let me play basketball. I was interested before, and I wanted to let him teach me but he was always away with work. As I have now grown up to my teenager stage, he now wants me to play the sport with my friends, and I keep straying away because I don't really know and understand the sport basketball.

Any tips, instructions or videos that can help me start basketball? Thanks! ;)

Well, I'm not much of a sporty guy but my friends always tell me to start with dribbling(the ball). Dribble it while you walk and when you sit down so that you can be used to it. Also, as you progress, you should start dribbling it lower than usual and with more force and speed. Anyway, That's just one of the basics. ;)

i am huge person, i play center, when i play. I have played basketball my entire life. So, first get a basketball. start dribbling with it where ever you go. go on jogs with it while dribbling so you learn not only to walk while dribbling but also run.

Range bro. Work on shooting the ball from three point range it racks up alot of points. Also speed and your vertical jump. You need speed so nobody can stop you from taking a free basket. You need to increase your vertical jump for dunks and layups. Last thing is leg muscles. Yea arm muscles are cool but you need the leg muscles for Jumping when you wanna block or dunk.

I am also serious tall, like the tallest in my school (and its a big school) and I play for my school basketball team (obviously). You can try and ask me some things except for ball control which I seriously suck at!
