So I recently started shaving my pubic hairs, and I've noticed that every time I do so, I knick myself without noticing. For some reason, once I'm done shaving I'll notice a few bleeding spots where hair used to be. I'm not sure why this happens, so I would appreciate any advice on what happened, and how to prevent it. I use shaving cream, and a very good razor, yet this still happens. I'm also noticing extreme irritation during the day. I'll be sitting in class, and suddenly there will be a sharp prickly feeling in my crotch, which I know is the hairs, but I can't shave them any finer than that without cutting myself. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this irritation?

it could be your pressing to hard and that prickly feeling is razer burn and just keep doing it for a little bit more longer because your crotch will get used to it and it wont hurt as much but dont press to hard because that will giver you razer burn

When you shave, do it in the shower, wait for your pubics to be completely wet, then take your razor and shave the first bit of hair off, then wash the razor. Making sure whenever you've shaved a bit to get the hairs off the razor. No shaving cream or irritation.

I would still recommend using shaving cream (it helps reduce razor burn and keeps your skin hydrated) but i stopped shaving because of that same reason, now i just trim.
