i say Kobe not becus he's got more rings, but his mental toughness is far superior than LeBron's. Not saying the latter is weak, he just choked a lil too much. In sports, i believe that Mental toughness is much more important than phys toughness.

Lies. Kobe has 5 rings and had 88 points in one game.
Lebron took like 7 years to get ONE ring.
doesent really matter though since Shaq was better than both of them

Funny, So you're saying Brian Scalabrine and Norris Cole are better players than Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Steve Nash just because they have a ring.
And points are irrelevant if the TEAM is losing compare the Miami Heat's season with Lakers this year.
Oh, and if we are listing career highs LeBron had 15 assists in one game (3 times) thats more assists than Kobe gets in like 10 games

I don't watch a lot of the sport, I prefer playing it, but based on the games I have seen recently I would say LeBron.

no thats not what im saying. People compare Lebron to people like Kobe and Jordan. How is Lebron better than Kobe If his stats don't meet up to Kobe's and the fact it took him LONGER to actually win a ring? You can pull out the fact that Lebron was on the cavilers and he was carrying the team and thats why he didn't win a ring sooner, BUT Kobe carried his team and actually won -_- Point is Lebron is good but not better than Kobe.
True Plus the fact that kobe is much older than back when he had 80 something POINTS

My point is who cares about rings? that doesn't make you an a better individual player. Points are irrelevant if the game is lost. Kobe has a score first mentality, while Lebron has a pass first mentality.
Lebron has 3 (THREE) MVP's (MOST VALUABLE PLAYER) Kobe has 1 (ONE)
Rings=Team accolade
MVP=Individual accolade

My point is Lebron is good But not better than Kobe and Not better than Jordan And personally I think if Carmelo Kobe Russel Harden or even Bosh went one on one they'd beat him.

In Prime? Kobe no doubt, I do believe now that Kobe's career is over. Kobe is still capiable of being a dominant player but he just doesnt have that intensity he had 7 or 8 years ago where hearing "Kobe dropped 30 points" was a regular thing.
