Video game thread

I was wondering if people would be in support of creating a separate videogame thread. I know we have Tech Junky's Paradise but anything that has to do with technology is posted there. I know there is a large community of gamers on VT and I think they woukd support the idea of a videogame thread. The thread would basically contain anything having to do with video games, consoles, and videogame accessories. This is just a suggestion although I think it would be supported by the VT gaming community. I believe it would be an extremely active thread as well. Thanks for reading!

But why not just use TJP? What's the benefit of making another section?

Go ahead and make it yourself. Do it the same way you made the way you suggested making a thread, except put it in Tech Junkies Paradise.

No I meant a separate thread (or forum, don't know the proper term) under general discussion or somewhere else. Since that area would be designated specifically to videogame questions and problems people would get replies to their questions or problems much quicker than they would if posted under TJP.

If you're asking for a separate section, which I think you are - there is no point. It would not get as much traffic as you think it would, and you can just post a thread with the purpose of Video Games in TJP. Having a whole new section just for pretty much one thread, is not ideal. Therefore, for that reason, I object.

Thread is completely different from forum ;) This is a thread (with name "Video game thread") -- another term that means the same is 'topic'.

So since you mean forum I don't think this is needed TJP is just fine.
