For rolling up a joint should there be a paper filter in it of not? Like if I didn't do that what would happen

I've never smoke a joint with a filter, but I can imagine it would take away some of the flavor and make it a bit weaker. Nothing will happen if you don't use a filter. It'll be just the same as smoking it from a pipe, blunt or normal joint.

If you're worried about the smoke harming your lungs, then don't smoke it. They make vaporizers to smoke whatever you want in, if you use a vaporizer for weed, it will be just steam and the THC which will provide a high most people are looking for. Using a vaporizer vs. smoking it is a lot more better on the lungs, granted you're not inhaling all of the plant life like you are with just smoking it. But using a vaporizer you can experience a burn when you inhale, because its hot steam.

What everyone does here is roll up a bit of card/paper into like a spiral and use that as a filter I think its just so you don't get weed or tobacco in your mouth.

In my opinion, rolling with a filter just means that you don't really know how to roll a functional joint or blunt. BUT they are nice to have if you're not so good at rolling the mouthpiece tight enough so that it doesn't let anything fall out into your mouth, but loose enough to where you can get good airflow through it. The filter is just a way of doing that if you have trouble without it.

I pretty much never smoke with a filter and I definitely never use them when I roll. But that's cuz I'm the best blunt roller east of the Mississippi :3

While this isn't directly promoting drug use, it's discussing techniques on how to go about doing so, so I'm going to lock it.
