(Please take the time to read it all so you understand my situation) Hi! I weigh 155, and I think about 5-15 pounds of my weight is body fat. Can someone give me some hints on how to lose a little weight? I've always tried in the past to lose some, but I never have enough will power. So please, I need some small, easy-to-follow hints. No big paragraph on how weight loss works. Believe me, I've studied diets and weight loss a LOT before, so I know how it works, but I can never find any good, small, easy hints. Please please please help if you can! :) Much appreciated.
So, I actually look very skinny with clothes on, and....well, I kinda am skinny. But I'm not completely happy with my body. And my BMI 23.3. I have my extra fat on my stomach, which looks good and healthy when I'm standing, but when I sit down or bend over....no. And the rest is in the backs of my hips. I don't like how my "love handles" look, hanging out like they do. How do I lose weight in those two areas? The fact that they look so bad to me makes my self-esteem plummet. So please help! Small, nice hints.

I would say cut down on the amount of junk food you eat. Try and drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. Start going to the gym if you don't already. Personally, I do 30-40 minutes of cardio on the elliptical. Work out doing more reps, but lower weight. When you are done have a protein shake. I think the biggest thing is cutting out food that's bad for you. I know it's really hard but it's kind of essential if you want to lose weight.

Sorry to say, but losing weight is hard, it's tuff and difficult. You will wanna quit several times. There are no short cuts. Also, it's probably impossible you only have 5-15 lb. of fat. You would be at like, 6% body fat. If you only had 5-15 lb. of fat, you would be ripped as fuck, especially at 155 lb.. By the sound of it, you probably have 40 lb. of fat. If you have love handles that hang, you probably have like, 25-30% body fat.

You also cannot target fat loss. Which you should know from all of your "studying" you have done on diets. Just eat healthy and have a caloric deficit, And do cardio 4x a week. If you're moderately determined, you could look average in about 6-8 months. If you are going to give 110% you could look average in 2-5 months.

I assure you, I don't have 40 lb. of fat. It's only around my stomach and hips, and only visible when I bend over, believe it or not. I kinda ammmm muscular. I have an 8 pack that won't show, but I can feel it when I flex, and I have huge biceps an calfs. So I sayyy.... 25 lb. of fat at most. I could ask next time I'm at the doctor.

I did know that. >_< I just worded it wrong, I think. Sorry.
But I'll work on it! Thanks.

The fat I have now isn't from recently, it's from wayyyyy over-eating as a child.

i think we need to know your height
being 5 foot and 155 pounds wouldn't be great for example
i doubt you have 5-15 pounds of bodyfat however
