Becoming friends/best friends with roommates

So when/if I get the opportunity for the Disney program. I'm both worried and excited that I get roommates. I'm worried because we could end up hating each other or just being friends while we're there, but I'm excited because that could be a chance that they become new best friends. What can I do so that we can get along really good and what can I do to become best friends with them? What would I do the first day to make it not awkward?

So from what I understand. The first day we go to the apartments drop off our stuff, then we go to Traditions (a class to know how to do stuff the disney way) then we can do whatever we want. Usually I heard that most people just go to the grocery store.

It sounds cheesy and stupid, but be yourself. You don't want to pretend to be something your not because then you'll have to keep that false image alive for your whole time there. Maybe hold back on some of your bad habits in the beginning. Just be really open and friendly. Best of luck! and I hope you enjoy your time there.

Yeah as has been said be yourself, be approachable and approach people though. Try and show an interest in what they do. It's an awesome opportunity though and since your all in it together I'm sure you would/will get along fine!
