my gf and i have been dating almost 2 years and we had sex regularly. all of sudden she became scared of just using condoms and doesn't want to carry on unless we find a way to get her on birth control. there's no way her parents would let her get it, which is dumb. I heard there's free clinics scattered around areas that will give teenagers birth control for free without parents consent. Is that true? and if so how do i contact them? She's 16, so obviously a minor.

nah sorry dude, birth control is expensive as hell. it has to be taken regularly (i don't exactly know how often but at least once a day i'm guessing). and just one day of not taking the pill completely screws up its effectiveness.

but if there really are these kind of clinics that give the pill free (which i highly doubt) than you should do some research and ask friends if they know anything about it.

maybe your thinking of the morning after pill? thats only for emergencies and shouldn't be taken unless you guys have a real pregnancy scare

I don't think it will be a good idea to go on birth control without her parents knowing. I'm not sure of free birth control clinics. But even if there are, birth control can make her really sick at first, or certain kinds may not work and make her too sick to use it and she might not be able to use certain brands. Taking matters into your own hands can backfire with her getting sick and her parents finding out. I'm just not sure its a good idea.

Scared of a condom?...... Here's a simple solution explain to her that there's nothing to be scared of

is there anyway? if her parents find out they won't let us see each other, so it makes it even worse.

I guess she's afraid of the condom breaking.. But to counteract that you should just ''finish off'' not inside of her..

oh
your girlfriend should also definitely see her doctor before trying out any pill. that is her #1 person to speak to about it besides her parents. like ant said, there can be lots of nasty side affects and meds she might already be taking could interfere/badly react with the pill

oh ok. i also heard girls who complain of severe period symtpons (cramps, bloating etc) can be put on birth control. could that be used as an excuse? also with pulling out with a condom...i produce a lot of precum and sometimes the condom gets moved around because we usually go for at least an hour. It is kind of the same effect as if you wrap your fingers around the tip of you penis and move them down towards the base, the precum gets stuck at the bottom and im afraid it may have even slipped out the base of the condom a few times. Is that possible? or is that just built up lube from the inside of the condom?

sorry for a lot of questions.

You could try finding a smaller size of condom if its moving around... but I'm not too sure about the built up lube.
Also, which contry do you live in? Because I think there are free clinics in the U.K, but I'm not too sure as I've never had to go to one... Anyway, you could always ask your own parents instead of hers, to see if they'll get it for you.
