I had a thread about this early but all i got was 1 unsatifactory reply - basically a google search -__-

anyway. i've finally come to the decision that i want to get rid of my chest hair, but im not sure how to go about it.

im quite hairy - bout 8/10 and defo to much hair for a razor, so im not sure how to do it - i want to be quite descrete about it, don't really want parents or sister to know... :/ any thoughts?

in case any1s wondering why i've decided to do this, is i feel embarressed by the amount of hair - as a result i almost never wear shorts or go topless in public :/ and sum itmes im in situation where i would like to be able to

Well I don't know how your parents and sister wouldn't know. They know you have chest hair, right? If they see you without any then obviously they'll know what happened.

And I've been in the same situation as you, as far as being embarrassed over hair. It really isn't worth it to shave out of embarrassment, because you shouldn't have to change yourself to suit other people. I much more recommend trying to become comfortable with yourself rather than shaving it all off. Because then you'll be stuck shaving and making sure you're hair/stubble free every time someone would see your chest/legs, and that's a lot of hassle.

I keep my body hair shaved. yeah its a hassle but I like it that way.
you have a number of options beard trimmer and an electric razor, disposable razor, hair remover, or waxing. if you have the money there is a hair remover called NoNo available online.

i used to shave off mine because i got it young and was self conscious about it, i dont really recommend shaving though because after a day or two it leaves stubble and draws attention to the fact that you shave your chest which is even worse. So yeah if you want to get rid of it than wax it off, but personally the older that i got the more comfortable i am getting with it, and getting rid of it is a hassle especially now that i pretty much shave my face everyday.
