I have a question for all the ladies. what exactly is and what happens durin your period?

That isn't the most informative explanation, but it gets the relative point across. :D A period is the point where the lining of the uterus sheds and is "evacuated" through the Vagina, usually consisting of blood. This process can last for several days and is accompanied by some mood swings and immense cramping in the abdomen. Also, like the other member said, a girls period or "menstruation" occurs every month and will not end until a womans later years, somewhere around mid forties or so I've heard. The only time a girl does not have her period is when she has conceived or is pregnant.
