The problem is sex has become taboo and for many people masturbation is even more so.

Those of your friends who have started puberty are almost certainly in exactly the situation you are in. They have discovered masturbation but, because hardly anyone is open about doing it, they aren't open about it either so each guy keeps thinking he is the only one.

Eventually a few people, perhaps the ones like you who have been on here or have otherwise come to realise that masturbation is both normal and very common will be open about doing it and the more people are open about it the more other people will start to admit they do it too.

Unfortunately in the extreme, there ARE teen boys who are convinced that it's wrong to wank, because they copped a bible-based "proof" that it's wrong, while they were very impressionable. They are convinced beyond anything, that they must struggle to give up masturbation, & save their orgasms until they're married. While pretty much EVERYONE does it, many of us also feel the guilt or remorse u feel afterwards...it is a normal feeling also to feel guilt for awhile as there is a natural non-sexual feeling (I guess nature's way of not over-sexing us) that happens after we cum, so we take it as if we did something wrong...which we haven't, but that's what it feels like. this will pass to where it now, for me anyway, is just a mellow afterglow or relaxation, without the guilt anymore...it will be fine dude...

Literally EVERYBODY does it at one point or another. There is no way it can't be normal and if someone tells you otherwise, then they're just in denial. Another thing to keep in mind too is that there is no "normal" way of doing it. Just do it as many times as you feel is necessary for your body and whatever way feels best for you. The whole idea is just to have a release and have it be enjoyable, so enjoy it!
