So, what would your Pokémon team for the apocalypse?

Interesting question.

I'd always choose my favourite, so forgive me for that. But you also need to be prepared, no matter what the apocalypse is throwing at you.

You need a strong swimmer in case the cities flood, but if there's no flood they still have to be useful, so a water pokémon that can perform equally in water and on land. As well, they'd be able to effortlessly put out fires. I think I'd go with Vaporeon. The other thing is that Flying would be incredibly useful, to save you from the top of that collapsing building or w/e. But you'd need a strong, solid flier, not some delicate bird. Flygon is second.

Here's where I've run out of ideas.

Arcanine! Umm. I could ride on his back, and he can use his flamethrower attack. That could come in handy? I was thinking I'd need a brute force pokémon, but they're not my style. Venusaur, lifting debris with his vines and ensnaring enemies. Castform, oh god yes. He can control the weather! And umm.. Mismagius. Needed a ghost pokémon. Immortal, but also Mismagius can cause headaches and hallucinations, but also happiness. So when things are tough, it can make us happy. :P

So that's... Vaporeon, Flygon, Arcanine, Venusaur, Castform, and Mismagius. XD
