Hey guys. If any of you want to stop cutting or stop yourself from starting, here is an way to help.
1. Every time you want to self harm, draw a butterfly on your arm.

2. Name the butterfly after someone you love.

3. If you harm before it washes off, the butterfly dies.

4. No washing it off.

5. Other people can draw them to. Those butterflies are extra special.

6. If you have more than one butterfly and you harm, they all die.

If you are doing it, maybe if you wanted you could post photos of your efforts.

I'm doing it, but with stickmen as a less girly alternative.

Ah, the butterfly method. I really love this method and honestly it's been my best way to prevent myself from cutting. I have three on my wrist right now. All drawn by myself of course (nobody has seen my cuts), however they've been helping a lot. Thanks for spreading around this glorious idea. Also, the paper chain method is pretty nice too. I tried it, it wasn't for me. Regardless, somebody else might it helpful.

Cool. I've heard of this method, although whenever I do it, I usually end up brutally murdering the butterflies. (I get kind of sadistic sometimes) But I've heard it works really well for a lot of people.
Be strong guys! <3

Its a good method but it isn't for me. I tried it and i kill them all. It was kinda fun watching them bleed, tear the wings apart...Yeah i was bored and depressed as fuck.
Hope it helps other members though.

I've tried it and it doesn't work for me. It's good that it works for other people, though! I have seen pictures of beautifuly drawn butterflies on people's arms :) One day at a time, everyone!
