I come for a music oriented family and never really thought how much time music is involved in my life. It pretty well involves my whole day, one way or another, I'm home schooled also. So I'm just curious of how much music plays in your life. So write how much time a day you practice or listen to music.
1. Practicing music:
2. Listening to music:
Mine are: I usually practice 5 hours, 3 hours in the morning and at least 2 hours in the evening
I listen to music at least 3-4 hours a day, somehow...somewhere and if my BF is good, I might give him some time too.

Practise:
Singing - half/1 hour during commute, sometimes during piano.
Piano - It's pretty irregular. If I want to play, I play a ton. If I don't want to play, I don't. If I forced myself to play, I wouldn't like playing. So for calculation's sake, let's say 2 hours.
Listen:
Now, this is difficult, because it depends what I'm doing and what you'd count. Automatically, my hours working is counted because there's always music playing, and commute I always have music playing. Most of my free time is computer-oriented, but depending on the game I'm playing, I don't listen to music while playing, unless you count the game's music. And also if you count practice as listening to music.
If you count the game's music, you're looking at fifteen hours minus meal time, minus girlfriend time. You can't even get a good estimate if you don't count game music, because it's just so varied. Some weeks I'm only gaming and others I'm doing something else. But I'm constantly listening to music.
Practice ~ 3 hours
Listen ~ 13 hours

1. Practicing music: I rarely practice, it's really bad but I usually just don't have the motivation to anymore. If I'm lucky I might get about 1-2 hours of piano practice a week and 15 minutes of flute but otherwise I just try and improve as best I can in the lessons.
2. Listening to music: 12 hours a day? Depends. Most teachers don't let us use headphones in school so it's bliss when you get the odd lesson where they do.

Practicing: school days I usually practice about 4 hours. On weekends I practice for about 2 and a half hours. If my keyboard decides not to be a bitch and work, I practice longer. Most practicing is done at school though, I get to play piano in my free time, and I have 2 music performance classes so im usually playing mallet percussion.
Listening: Weekdays I listen to music maybe 5 hours out of the day. Alot of it is done in my music related classes, and working out after school. On weekends, maybe an hour.

I go through stages. I have a lot of other hobbies and some of them come before music to me.
Generally I practise 2 hours a day. Some days if I'm particularly working on a song (the solo for Comfortably Numb for example) I will practise as much as I can, 5+ hours a day in some cases. It comes down to how busy I am.
Listening, well I spend a LOT of time listen. Mornings, driving to and from places, at school, when doing homework, when working out etc so probably at least 5 hours a day.
