Hey!
So, recently I was wearing one of my favorite outfits (Bright orange sweater, black skinny jeans, black ankle boots) and was at a family gathering. My older sister laughed at my outfit, telling me how stupid I looked. I laughed too. She looked rediculous in her 'my boyfriend and i broke up' outfit.
But it made me think... Really, who cares what I wear? If I wanna wear a freaking orange tutu and flannel pants with a sweater that says "F**** you", would that matter? Granted I'd never wear a sweater with profanity. It's just not me.
It was hillarious to think about though. Personally, I think I'm pretty much normal. I'm a 16-year-old with my own style, a boyfriend, looking for a job and waiting to get my liscense. Pretty normal, huh?
So, what do you think? Should you wear what you want, no matter what, or do you think you should be afraid of others? (This turns into a bash session and I'll get an admin on you :P)

Be who you want to be, I change looks all the time to fit the mood I'm in and not where I'm going. On of my favorite is black ankle boots, red plaid pants, and some weird T shirt. I dye my bangs some weird color and put different colored dread hair extensions in and go show the world. The next time, I might be a clean cut normal girl. It's all about me and not what others think of me. I am who I am on the inside, the outside is just what I feel like looking like that day.

You should ignore such things because we cannot stand on everybody's choice. Your selection of outfit represents your personality and you should not change it for others.

As long as you are confident about what you wear, I don't see what's the problem. Everybody has different tastes, you cannot expect all to compliment you, neither all to say that you look bad. If you wear clothes that suit you and you feel good, you should not care about what people say. Believe me, of you are well-disposed and positive, it changes the way you look, but if you keep thinking " I look bad, I look bad, I look bad..." every day, you will eventually look bad.
