Hey guys I went to see my doctor today and have been given Fluoxetine and Zopiclone to take, has anyone had any experience with either of these? I'm pretty nervous to take them cause I dont know what to expect. Edit: Ive now taken one of each and feel really odd. I almost feel tipsy drunk/high as a kite and just generally enexplananbly odd.

I was taking Fluox. for a while. I can't really remember anything 'cause my memory it really blurry when I was taking them, but they did work really well for me, even Doc was surprised.
How long have you been taking them? They should only start to have any sort of effect after a week or two.

First day taking them was yesterday, I dont like the sound of the blurry memory though. I don't feel any different so far but thats only after 2 pills though so its understandable. I don't want to be zoned out all the time though so I might go back and try and get a different kind.
Thanks for your response!

I take Fluoxetine, been on it for about 3 or 4 months now. Usually I just get headaches and drowsiness. I get that weird spaced out thing too, but that's pretty rare for me.
My doctor started me on the lowest dosage (10mg) to avoid side effects and lessen any I did get, and slowly has increased the dosage (i'm at 30mg now). It's worked pretty well for me. Like the other guy said though, it'll take at least 3 or 4 weeks before it actually starts working, and from what I've heard the side effects are usually the worst when you first start taking it, then they kind of lessen over time.

Yeah, apparently I have "major depressive disorder" so I was given that, I do hate how doctors give things big names lol

Just an update, that's me hit 2 weeks on fluox and now I do feel better I had my dose put up to 40mg and i have a check up tomorrow. I don't feel to spaced out I reckon that was my zopiclone that I have now stopped taking of my own accord. I'd recommend it to people because i don't feel a different pereon I just dont feel as low

Fluoxitine is for depression and OCD, Zopiclone is is for going to sleep. when your doctor perscribed these to you he should have informed you as to there use and any possible side affects. My neightbor who is 17 is on Prozac pretty much the same thing and it has changed his whole personality and i'm sure it effects everyone a little different. Most doctors will monitor this drug very closely especially in teens because they are more susceptible to doing harm to themselves or others while using this drug.
