Whenever I try to get in, it says I need to download some updated java script. That hasn't worked too well for some reason. (I'm on a Mac.)

What browser are you using? I'm pretty sure Chrome (for Mac) doesn't really work too well with this chat.

You could try FireFox and download the Java addon / extension for it.

Well I was on Chrome and figured out that it didn't work so I switched to Safari. I just downloaded the plug in on here, but now it's saying that the plug-in is "missing" When I clicked on it again, It didn't just did nothing.

Yea, I've had a lot of trouble with Macs and java, as well. I've resorted to using Firefox (gasp) and it's worked fine, though :P

It's a dinosaur in terms of browsers, I don't mind it too much though.

But OP, it's possible Safari may work. Maybe if you completely uninstall/reinstall Java?

i got the same message but when i updated java everything worked fine
