Guilty Masturbation

Anyone know scientifically or spiritually as to why so many feel guilty after masturbation? Some do, some don't, but many do. So what of you? Do you?
If so, why? Me? I sometimes do because it feels like I'm giving into temptation or lust.

I think it's just one of these things that we do. I'm athiast, and never really had anyone directly to tell me that it's bad. To me it's probably down to the way people are brought up and have been told that it's bad if people feel that way afterwards.

When I was much younger yes, but that was because I thought I was the only one that did it. Hell, I thought I invented it. Now, not in the least, it feels good and is very natural.

I think it has a lot to do with how your raised amd your parents attitiude about masturbation

I'm not sure why but I felt a bit guilty after I masturbated the first time. Well in fact I mean after I orgasmed the first time. Since then, I haven't felt guilty and now I just love doing it.

The only guilt ever came from the fear of getting caught, and that almost happened a lot in a family that didn't accept the idea of privacy at all

I never felt guiltyfor J/o i think in religus circles they consider it self abuse fos the purpose of pleasure dont know what part of of scripture that it cones from but im sure someone will as far as science my mom is a Dr. And im sure she knows i J/O as well as my 2 brothers a and im surf she would warn us if wasnt ok she is very open with us and yery cool so im going to keep doing it without remorse

I never feel guilty for doing it, however, it's quite normal and common to feel guilty afterwards

In my opinion, God gave us the ability to do it. So why would it be wrong?

I'm not exactly a follower of the Church, but I honestly don't think it's anything bad.

The only point when it's bad is if you are causing physical harm to yourself by doing it too often or something.
