Armpit Hair

I'm 13 and I have no armpit hair. My friend who I am about 2 months older than has armpit hair. I'm worried I'm never gonna have any. D: Help.:confused:

everyone goes through puberty at different times, so don't worry if you don't have any, you will get it eventually :)

Don't worry at all, Grant! At 13 it's very unusual to have ANY armpit hair yet. That comes later, maybe not until 17.

Teens grow at all different speeds & orders of events. One boy in my grade 8 class (Warren-aged 13) had a short dark beard that he had to shave every day, & his voice sounded 17, & he was 160cm tall. Another boy, in grade 11 with me (Dominic-aged 16) was still smooth as a baby's bottom all over his face & chest & his voice still sounded age 12, & he was 170cm tall. None of that worried him & he got a girlfriend later that same year.

How you develop is different for everyone so he might grow armpit hair now but you might get facial hair before him

Grant you will get there. i honestly didn't get armpit hair until i was nearly fifteen. all teens grow differently. some everything happens to them at once, some over many years. just sit back, relax and enjoy life, and soon worrying about hair or penis size will be a thing of the past. :)

Doesn't matter I got my pit hair by 13 but my friend doesn't have any now even he is 16

Don't worry about it.... People grow hair in different places... And having arm pit hair is not that good, it makes you sweat easier and stuff... But you are going to get arm pit hair for sure, it is just a matter of time.

As well as what everyone else is saying, some people are just not very hairy. Myself for example; I've had armpit hair for 3 or 4 years, but still don't have a large amount, it's quite thin. The fact that it's light in colour probably hides it too, but thin nonetheless

Everyone's different during puberty, so you can't really compare well until you've gone through it.

Underarm hair is some of the last to grow in....Be patient

When I was 13 very few people had hairy armpits but by the time you're 14 most boys have at least some hair. Between 13 and 14 is the time when boys (usually) change a lot.

He might be a little earlier than you. I got some when I was about end of 13- beginning of being 14. They'll be little fuzzes, but then it'll grow over time.

everybody's body grows differently so i wouldn't worry about it. i honestly don't remember if i had any armpit hair at that age but yeah you'll get there dude

dude i just started growing armpit hair last year and im 15 i was as worried as you haha then one day i saw a few hairs and then just waited and now a whole year later i got armpit hair haha

I thought the same thing, mine didn't really grow much until last summer. Funny part is now I wish it didn't grow in, I liked it better smooth :P

Dont worry about it, I didnt get armpit hair until 14. And i dont think many kids your age will have it either. I think your friends REALLY ahead in term of development and puberty

Pubic hair usually comes between 10 and 15. Armpit hair and later chest hair, come a couple of years or so afterwards. We all grow at different rates. Don't worry about it.

It's not anything to worry about I mean it's just your armpits and armpit hair isnt anything that's worth worrying over lol
