*Calling all VT Admins.
Are there any plans to move VT to VB 4.2.0? Or VB5, when a stable build is released? Don't mean to stick my nose where it's not welcome, just wondering. :)

As far as I know, VT will never upgrade because there's no need to. Nothing's broken, and the version is fine the way it is.

Nope, it's highly, highly unlikely we'll ever switch to vB 4+ It's buggy, clunky, and not really needed for this site. vB 3.8x is still supported (to some degree), so we're fine.

Plus, the upgraded sites look like a pile of shit.

If they release a version that is better than vB 4+ then it would be considered; but I'm certainly not impressed with 4 or 5.

I don't disagree. Was just wondering.

vB4 and vB5 seem terrible to me. My 3 fansites use vB3.8 and it is their best version. To be honest, I think it is the cleanest and easiest to navigate, with the least amount of bugs than any other vBulletin version. It is also the most user-friendly version. The only difference is the UI and visual aspects.

The site is fine. New doesn't always mean great.

Not disputing that, as I said, I was just inquiring.

Yeah, I agree. VB4 looks quite ugly :P

...the only thing I like about vB4 is the WYSIWYG editor. Looks smooth and clean, but that's about it.

vB3 has WYSIWYG, however, it doesn't work on Chrome/Safari. vB4 WYSIWYG editor does work in Chrome/Safari, though. Unless you just meant the whole look of the editor. :P

I meant the look :P. But I also don't like the fact VB3's WYSIWYG editor doesn't work on Chrome.......VB4 does, as you said (and that's probably another thing I like about it, oops)
