View Full Version : Why do people do this?

I've watched people on here label things "Boys Only" or "Girls only". This is a boys and girls forum. Why do you put something "Girls Only" or "Boys only" in a forum that is made for both? If you only want boys or girls to look at it, put it in the other forums.

Those threads are either:
a) Surveys. Surveys have to go in the forum for both boys and girls. I'm not 100% sure why this is but it's a rule. The threads can also be...
b) written by a boy and targeted towards girls or vice versa. Boys are NOT allowed to post in the girls' forum, no matter what. Girls are not allowed to post in the boys' forum, no matter what. So if I wanted to ask boys about something, I have to post it in a puberty forum where I'm allowed to make the thread and they're allowed to reply to it.

Hope I helped! :)

If a guy is asking the question to the girls, and visa versa, it can't be in that section. It states that clearly in the forum rules, you should have a look at them. It has to be in this section, and they can title the thread whatever the want. If they say 'girls only' or 'boys only' they literally only want a response from that gender.

Mortal Coil got there before me.

Furthermore,

It says in the rules that if you want a question to be directed for girls only that you can put girls only in the title.

Boys cannot post in Puberty for Girls just as girls cant do so in the boys section.
