It's to protect the head of the penis & to stop it from losing its sensitivity to being touched. If the head is less sensitive, it'll take longer to cum, & the excitement along the way mite be reduced.

LOL, the foreskin covers the glans and constantly lubricates it. So it keeps the sensitivity. It also help against infections, although you still have to clean when your having a shower. The foreskin also plays a role in sex, as the penis can penetrate in and out easier with out the use of lubricants.....
