I really don't get the whole thing. I just don't think that my little pony is a very good tv show. However, I couldn't care less what shows people watch, and if other people like it, they can watch it.

It is a good show, it has a great storyline, amazing animation & voice acting, etc. Those are just some of the reasons why people like it. And also, what's there not to get? It's just dudes who watch My Little Pony :)

What I meant by I don't get it was I don't really see the appeal of the show. It's just not my taste.

You're right; everyone does have a sensitive side. It's one of the qualities that makes us human. But not everyone has a sensitive side for ponies.

Personally, no, I don't think they're freaks. This is the way I see it: People can like whatever they want, I don't give a fuck. Everyone has similar and different interests, why can't we accept that?

I think it's stupid to call someone a freak, over something they enjoy.
Society needs to be more accepting, over everything.

You're exactly right. I was just called pony boy today for instance. It didn't really hurt my feelings and I actually found it rather amusing but still it's a sign of disapproval and technically is teasing.

While I've watched the show and can't even begin to understand what anyone over the age of 8ish sees in the show, no, I don't think you're freaks. That would just be ignorant. People can like whatever the hell they want.

I've seen a couple episodes, and I just don't see the appeal. The story lines are so... juvenile from what I can tell. Some of them can get really obnoxious too. I watched the episode where that one pony was the last in her class to get her cutie mark, and the way she spoke in some of the parts were just.. Shoot me now, kinda thing. I understand it's got some good life lessons and stuff, but again, it's stuff for kids. Stuff that young kids have yet to and need to learn, and that teens have already been taught in most cases. Yeah, it's got good animation, but you can say that about many children's shows.

And just to be clear, it's not just guys. I don't understand girls watching it either. I could care less if you're a guy or girl, what I don't understand is grown men and women enjoying it.

Like I said, I don't have a problem with you watching, that's your business. I just don't get it. But I'm not gonna tease you about it, or think any less of you for it. I mean, I watch Disney movies. Granted, it's normally more of an "Omg, I miss my childhood; I'm gonna pull out some of my old VHS tapes" thing. But still, we all have things that we do or like that no one understands and we don't deserve to get bashed for them. I don't see the appeal in golf either (playing maybe, but watching?) but I don't call people freaks for it. That would be ignorant and rude.

Bronies are the same as anyone else and shouldn't really be treated differently. You shouldn't really make fun of someone if they like a Television show even if it wasn't originally intended for their age group.
