What West End/Broadway Musicals do you like and why? Any particular song you like from a musical?

Well for me at the moment I'm going through loving Wicked again and I want to go see it in on Broadway if I ever go to NY. Actually as I am typing this I am listening to Defying Gravity, it's such an amazing song and when it's done well it's amazing! Also nothing beats No One Mourns The Wicked, the begining is just so amazing, I feel as though my I also love Billy Elliot, specifically the Angry Dance, love those guitars in it. The first time I saw Wicked (2006), we made it a huge family ordeal, so all the adults read Wicked before they saw it. I wasn't allowed to, obviously, so after she finished, I borrowed my mum's copy and began reading it. I think I gave up on it a chapter or two in. When it was gross, it was way too disturbing for my little fourteen year-old brain. I've yet to finish it still.

I've got a very specific taste in musicals.

If you haven't guessed yet, my taste is dark/depressing generally, with the occasional rock opera.
