Phones coming up

Hey Vt,

So my phone plan ends in March. I was one of the lucky few to have the grandfathered unlimited data on Verizon. The catch is, if I use their $200 to upgrade my phone, I lose the unlimited. But if I get a retail, I won't lose it.

My Thunderbolt is starting to have some deadzone issues...where it won't register my touch. (My first android phone too <3) (Its really bad, I can't zoom in on webpages, or update statuses, and most times I can't even hang up)

So here is the Rub. Since my plan ends in march, I have a few options to go for retail (I kinda want to do this anyway, since a retail phone won't have bloatware).

Option 1 - Wait for the HTC "M7" and replace my phone ASAP, so that I have something that works / is new tech / etc.

Or

Option 2 - Pray my thunderbolt lasts past march, and wait for the samsung S IV, the only real competition to the m7 i've been reading about...but would renewing my plan again n march, allow me to add the s4 when its released in april? (may?)

option 3 - Something else thats awesome and not an apple endorsed product? and that will be out in march?

You can upgrade your phone anytime after it runs out I believe. So if you want to wait to get a good phone then you can wait. But both of te first two options sound like you have to wait so you might as well do it to get the phone you want.
