Hey guys, I'm kinda new and all that good stuff so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm just gonna post it here and let an administrator move it around as needed.....
Anyway, I'm Paige and I'm 14 and live in Houston, Texas. I've lived what people would call the "perfect" or "ideal" life, but in my eyes I haven't. Both my parents are still in the picture and my two younger brothers are as well. I was popular and had the world at my fingertips.
In 5th grade my world was shaken up a little bit when my dad found his daughter from his first marriage on Myspace 20 years after she was adopted and they lost contact. She was 22 and was in the army. I was only 10 so I thought having an older sibling would be cool. Within a year of her living with us, she became pregnant and that tore my life personally apart because my parents were under so much stress.
In 6th grade I was hanging out with the wrong kind of friends and I was constantly told I wasn't good enough, or I was fat, or I was ugly. I let that get to me and all of 6th and 7th grade I hung out with the kids who partied and smoked because I felt like that's all I'll ever amount up to.
By 8th grade, I was back on track and I gave my life to Christ and now I live my life for him. Ever since that day, I haven't had a single problem with anyone telling me I wasn't good enough because I knew I was good enough for God.
So I'll just continue posting my life or something here. So yeah. I'm kinda excited to be here.
