I'd say the chances are kind of low if you're both virgins, but there's always a chance anyway since it's pretty easy for bacteria and stuff to be in the anal area. I'd say wear a condom. If you're hanging out with someone you think you might end up having sex with, just be sure to have one or two in your pocket.

You should wear one with a guy too, better safe than sorry.

Either use a condom, or stop having sex with him if he won't let you. If you found one friend, you can find another. At least I think you can. I don't have any experience with finding a friend.

if u are both virgins, then it's not likely. but think about this...how did the disease form in the first place?

Always use protection. STDs spread through blood as well, and bleeding can be common when performing anal sex. And it's true teens really do get STDs their first time, so be safe. Also, don't keep condoms in a place that will change temperature from body heat, weather, etc. Because that may cause condoms to break during intercourse. So yeah.

There's no promises of getting one if you have sex without a contraceptive of some form, but it's better to be safe than sorry, even if they don't have one.

If the both of you were truly virgins and had bever done anything before the chances of catching an STD are slim to none so what you really need to ask yourself is how well do I really know this person and what are the chances he is lying about being a virgin or never experimenting with another person. You can know someone all your life and still not really know them. Be safe use a condom so you won't be sorry later

If you can't trust him on not having sex with other people other than you, then probably you shouldn't be having sex to begin with.

STDs can also pass from the mother to the child during childbirth, and while it's less likely you'll come across someone in that situation, it's completely possible. Please, please, please use a condom.

this is false as blood from the mother does not transfer through the placenta. Babies and mothers can also have different blood types for this exact reason.

Ooh, no. There are actually a handful of STDs that can be passed mother to child, all throughout the delivery process. Syphilis and HIV can cross the placenta and affect the baby while in the uterus. Gonorrhoea, Hepatitis B, Chlamydia, and Herpes can be passed on during delivery. HIV can additionally be contracted through breastfeeding as well.
I mean, if you're right, I'd really like to know because then someone's been lying to me and I can stop taking these pills.

There are other ways to contract STDs besides sexual contact. Just because you are both virgins doesn't mean you don't have something. It's best to be safe, unless you each get tested regularly.

It's been stated, but STIs CAN be contacted outside of intercourse or sexual activity, as well as from mother to child.
Children don't always have different blood types compared to their mothers- Blood type is genetic.
Use a condom.

Well, maybe not STD but it's anal so wearing a condom is probably a good idea. And more hygienic too.

Yes, but other fluids, such as water, go from the mother to the baby. And retroviruses (including HIV) can survive in pretty much any fluid there is.
