I agree it sounds like you need vaginal stimulation over clitoral so have you tried masturbation with an object you can insert into the vagina. Another factor it may be is that just knowing it's your own hand takes some of the excitemnet away. To be honest for me masturbation starts in the brain and i if my heads not into it I don't think any amount of stimulation will produce an orgasm so maybe try thinking about something that will excite you first and go from there.

It might. But just be aware that it might not work either. I know of people who can't get off using a vibe. Or for some it is too intense to really let it work.
