Am I Tall For My Age?

Hi

I just turned 13 and am 183cm am I tall or normal or short

(I am 72.0472 inches for my american friends)

I'm not very good at visualizing centimeters(me being american), but it sounds kind of tall.

You're taller than the average American Male which is 175 centimeters. You're tall for your age. Most people say that's a good thing. ;)

Last time I checked, the average American male height wasn't 14'5, but please let me know the next time you see someone that's 14+ feet tall so that I can get the credit for calling the Guiness Book of World Records! :cool:

Anyway, to the OP, yes, 6 feet tall (I did the centimeter to inch and inch to feet calculations) is tall for 13, but if I were you, I'd be extremely happy.
I have experience on the other side of this as I'm 16, and I'm only 5'3. Trust me, you don't want to be like me! :(

well, down here in Australia the youth is getting smaller and smaller, im the tallest in my school(190cm thats about 6'3'') and the shortest is at my waste, he is a 13yr old kid!!!! he is really short but we are good friends

You're actually tall for your age but there's nothing to worry about really. We all grow at different paces.

But yeah, your tall but it happens. I have a friend who turns 13 next month and is around your height. Everyone's different :3

Yes you'e tall.Im 166cm (or 65 inches). If you're similar height as other people in your family, this may indicate how far you may still grow.

I'm 13 and 5' 7 1/2". The tallest in my grade I think is 5' 11".
