Inheretence, trust fund, allowance, etc. how much would you give them? In this (http://www.cnn.com/2011/TECH/innovation/06/13/personal.details.bill.gates.mashable/index.html) interview, Bill gates said he would give all 3 kids $10,000,000 each.

If I had his reported (http://www.forbes.com/forbes-400/)wealth, I would probably give (if I had 3) $15,000,000,000 to each of my kids, $5,000,000,000 to all my family members I list on my will(they can all split it evenly), set aside $50 million for both my my kids trust fund (incase of emergencies, they would both split the money) and all the rest I would donate to charity.

But, I would never have 3 kids, so I would give them $17,000,000,000 instead of the $15 billion.

I couldn't finish the last part. So I'll finish it here. If you were to give them or contemplating giving your kids a large, large sum of money would you be worried that they would grow up to be lazy? Would you worry they'd waste all their money on stuff like drugs and partying?

For me, I would try to raise them to be responsible with money and they would have to go to college in order to get a large inheritance. But I would still give them a very large amount of money, just not as much as I would've originally given them if they were responsible and I trusted them with that money. I would also set up a trust fund for the both of them, so that if they lose their money, they can live off of their trust fund for a while.

*If the chart changes, lets just keep it at $66 billion.

When I die, this is how my estate fortune would be split

half would go to my wife

other half would be split evenly between our 4 kids

I would announce one of my children to run my share of my businesses.

- If I die before I turn 40, then my kids would get $80,000 a year until their over 30 and get the remainder of their share will be split evenly for 20 years.
This way, It will encourage them to be successful like I was and not blow all the fortune like many other wealthy heirs do.

But before that I will have to find loop holes in the IRS so the government doesnt feed off of someone because they are dead and cant fight for their rights in their grave. In other words, inheritance taxes are unconstitutional because they prey on the dead!!!!

Ahhh estates... gotta love them... mine how ever will be divided among those that attend my funeral... I'm not going to tell anyone that so only those that loved me enough to go would get it... as for children... I'll think of that when I get there...

If money is put in a trust, that money in the trust won't be taxed until it comes into the child's hands

Lets hope when the money does go in the child's hands, there is a Republican in office!!!!!

Nothing, they have to earn it. They have to start from scratch just like their father. They would become wreck less with the money, spend it all, I would just teach them how to be successful, not just rich.
I would donate every cent to various causes after selling off everything.

If you raise your kids correctly and teach them the real value of money and what it can be used for, either personally or for the goodwill of others, you shouldn't be worried.
If you're a bad parent and don't teach them personal responsibility and accountability, then yes, you should be worried.

I sure would be a little worried, cause I want them to party and stuff like that. But I'd just ant it to be a phase
