This poem is my Love poem for February since this month is all about Love!

Lonely Dancer

I watch you dance
with another guy, as
I sit wishing that I
could dance with you

I wish you knew me
more, to see I am
the guy for you,
to make you happy

The guys you dance
with trip you, and
move on, but I wouldn’t
trip, nor leave you

You look so beautiful,
and I don’t understand
why guys miss your
beautiful personality

Give me a chance,
and I’ll learn how
you dance, and not
give up like everyone else

You look at me, and
I look at you, but
you look away, thinking
I’m not a good dancer

I hate sitting in this
chair! It’s time to go
up to show you I
understand you

Just give me a
chance, and we will
then never stop dancing,
we’ll dance forever
