I have decided to apply at McDonalds. I really, really hope to get hired. I know I'll probably only make 6 bucks an hour and only be able to work 3 hours a day. And my mom is taking 50 dollars out of every week's earnings to be put into a retirment fund for me.. But I mean I'll have a legitemint job! Plus, I'll be able to buy my first car sooner than later. :D

SOME DAY HOPEFULLY SOON!

First job is the hardest to snag, sadly. I put my first application in the day before my 16th birthday (Early May) and I didn't manage to get any of the jobs I applied for until October. But then I managed to get three consecutive part-time jobs in a row.

Not trying to bring your hopes down or anything, lol. I'm just saying this is the hard part but after that it becomes tons easier, so I'm rooting for you! :D

I put all my money into a savings account and just spent my tips, so when I moved out I had a good £3000 or so to start me off with. Helped loads while I was trying to get a job after I moved. But, do what you want with it :3 My dad gave me his car after he got a new one so I had that luxury.

Good luck!

Thanks for the support! Yeah, I know the manager probably wont want a 15 year old that can only work 3 hours a day.... I hate America's child labor laws! Thanks, though. :)

Good luck

I applied and got rejected. I got rejected at like every place I applied to over the summer. Something about me being not talkative enough. Or was it how I looked (*cough* not pretty *cough*)? >_>

I don't care how much money I make -- I'd like to earn money, doesn't matter how much. Never had time during the school year, still don't have any now. I don't want to work for a long period though. I think 4 hours is the max I can do. Physically, I mean..

Good luck with getting the job! If you get called back for an interview make sure to be polite and all -- they look for those kinds of things -- especially in a customer service type of job.

I've applied EVERYWHERE. Nobody is hiring these days. Especially not at 15. It is hard, but it will get easier when you get to be 16. That is generally the age they look for.
