so I have this gym teacher in high school who is young, (younger than 30 I think) really pretty and good looking and red headed, and she teaches physical education and Health and so we are doing the swimming unit and while in the pool she was walking around and she then said to me and some of my friends later when we were walking back to the locker room to change that she likes the swimming unit the most because she likes to look at all the male students without their shirts on in the water and it gives her lots to look at and she hopes you work hard so they all look nice for her. I have zero problem with what she said, but if some kid who was around me decides to go and cry to someone about it, will she get in trouble?

She is probably just motivating you to do your best. I heard a story about a teacher wanting to marry a student if they studied and became a millionare. It was just motivation. Something lazy high school people need these days

Hmm I reckon that was inappropriate. It's one thing to say that she's impressed with how fit all her students are, because as a PE teacher it's fair enough for her to take an interest in her student's fitness, but to say it because she personally enjoys it for sexual reasons is wrong. I mean, if I said I liked it when my female teachers bent over because they have a nice ass to another teacher, it'd be deemed inappropriate, wouldn't it? I don;t think she should get a punishment, just a warning to keep it to herself.

I really think there was no problem with that, but now days she probably would get in trouble is someone in authority found out. Just out of curiosity what grade are you in? because i've noticed that when you get to a certain level of school (like grade 12 that im in now) most teachers stop treating you like little students and more just like fellow people

I think she probably would get in trouble for that comment, even though personally I don't think there's anything wring with what she said.

I'm guessing she knows you find her attractive and is just teasing you.

Ummm.... Idk... Could be motivation or she just admitted to being a female perv... Well unless you like the attention... And an easy A

Motivation. Nothing motivates a guy more than a compliment from a woman.

Personally I don't think she is a bad person for saying it, but it is inappropriate and had some other teacher in the school heard then she would be in trouble.

If that comment did make someone upset, and they told on her, then yes, she could get in trouble.
But honestly, I don't think she meant to sound perverted, I think she was just joking.

If someone went & pushed hard enough, they could claim sexual harassment. With newer rules in place, any small comment like this can be skewed and turned into something ugly.

Chris put it well, if you were to go to a teacher and say that you enjoyed when your female teachers bent over, or when they wear tight shirts, they would react negatively and you (most likely) would get in trouble.

taken out of context it does sound inappropriate and i'm sure the school board as well as the parents of the students her her class would feel the same way but i think it would depend on her overall behavior towards her students and if this is a one time remark or a patteren of behavior.

Sounds kinda weird of her to say IMO

I don't think she should have said that. It makes her sound like she wants to get with her students.

For me I'd just assume she was joking. I have a couple younger teachers that do that type of thing jokingly.

will admit it wasn't quite that bad. But stuff like she (all time favorite teacher) doesn't like to go to school dances because she finds young people "rubbing against eachother" (dancing). The class laughed and made nothing of it. She did laugh to clarify she was joking, though. But nothing has happened quite like your experience, so I guess if anyone was with you, you should get their opinion. I think she may have just been trying to encourage you, also.

I talked to two people about it, one said it was wrong and she should be reported, the other said he couldn't see the big deal and she was probably trying to "Encourage" you

IDK. These days a student can say anything about a teacher and the teacher is automatically on the defense. I've seen others (not my friends) do that to several teachers. I know the mindset is for our protection but some people misuse it. I've never had anything like that happen to me but if I was in your situation I would probobly see if it happens again and then decide. Probobly not appropriate but maybe not that big of a deal.

Personally I'd just grin and work my ass off in her class. She was using a little humor to inspire you. Now if she'd said how much she enjoys all the bulges....

No I don't think it is but I know what is .... I know someone in my year who had put a status on Twitter about his English teacher being a bitch to him and then that teacher went on her Twitter and searched his Twitter for a status about her now that Is wrong. IMO she should have got sacked for that because that means that she's searching pupils on a social network which she ist supposed to do as a teacher.
