Well the first 2 years of middle school we were best friends, we both were in the same class. but when he started following Math and i Latin we lost connection.
Now he is talking behind my back and so on. What can I do?

You can either confront him about it, which is usually the best way to do it. Or, you could just ignore him and find new friends. If people you thought were your friends are talking behind your back, they aren't your friends. You don't need people like that in your life.

he doesnt sound like a good friend at all
but perhaps he is disapointed that you guys share different interests and he wants friends who share the same interests as him. sorry if thus upsets you but judging by the way hes acting i think thats whats happening. i would forget about him and move on
if not maybe try and pull him aside when hes alone and ask him what his issue is

Unfortunately people change, it's just something you've got to get used to as you grow up. Especially if you've not been friends long, you'd be surprised how easily a couple of years can lead to meaning nothing. If you're bothered by what he's saying then talk to him while he's alone, don't do it round his new mates or he'll most probably act up. If you're not all that bothered then move on and find new, more trustworthy friends.

I would say talk about it. You guys need to get things cleared up first! And if that doesn't work, just move on. He's not worth it if he doesn't want to call truths.

What kind of best friend would talk about you behind your back and not talk to you anymore just because you have different classes? You need to talk to him about what's going on between you two and figure out what's happening.
