When is one's frenulum too short?

I started wondering when i read the threat about Snapped banjo string (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=166212): how is a normal frenulum supposed to be? I googled and found a condition which is called frenulum breve. But there your glans is bent down badly by your frenulum when pulling back your foreskin completely.
When errected mine is just loose enough to enable my foreskin to be pulled back completely. If I pull it a bit further it stretches tight and gives me this extra portion of sensation. Rather super pleasant and stimulating than painful or anything.
Am I at a risk to snap mine too? What is yours like?

If you have a frenulum, you're at risk of snapping it. Just make sure to use plenty of lube.

I had a checkup at my urologist's for a different reason. Being there I had her checked on my frenulum too. She said it is perfectly fine and it's quite rare that someone snaps their frenulum.
As long as your glans does not bend down significantly if you pull back your foreskin and/or it hurts when stretched you are not at any risk.
In case it was too short though, they could fix it by extending it with a minor operation.

it is an elasticky band of skin under the head, by the urthera opening that is designed to pull the foreskin forward and keep it over the head, it isnt an important piece of info as we dont run around naked anymore like adam and eve did before eating the fruit.

No, you are fine. It's when the pee hole get's pulled down before the skins all the way back that you have a problem. There's degrees of how tight it is I had a moderate one which did cause problems of soreness and feeling like it might snap. It was possible to live with it but it was a pain. I got this fixed as part of my circumcision but it's possible to just fix the string itself, but I was already getting it done for other reasons. Hope this helps.
