If you aren't already talking to a counselor/therapist, then I recommend that, if you find a good one, and you co-operate, they can do better than pills sometimes. They can help you resolve some or most or your issues so you don't feel bad about them, while pills will merely mask the pain.
If you truly feel like you need medication, then look into talking to your local doctor about it, or your school counselor, or a local service. Most of the time your doctor will keep your information private, and they can determine whether you need pills or can refer you to service that can help you, but with a school counselor, you can tell them what's going on, and they can explain it to your parents from an adult perspective that they may take more seriously. Also, Google your area and youth services/mental health services, a lot of places and free clinics you can visit so it's worth a look looking into that.
Talking to someone about your issues, will in itself, help. Bottling up feelings is the worst thing you can do, so the first step is speaking out. It's hard, but it's worth it.
I hope things go okay for you, good luck with whatever you decide.

I have PTSD and I'm on so many different meds. The help me to keep calm and stuff but the don't solve anything. The thing that has helped me the most is drawing my feelings but you have to find something that works for you. Group therapy is always a good idea too. It helps to open up to people who understand and can relate as opposed to a parent who doesn't even know what they can do to help. Talk to your parents and tell them how you feel and how they can help you.
