Halo 4 campaign and spartan ops connection problems

I've been having alot of problems with halo 4 co op campaign and spartan ops lately. Every time I play with a couple of friends I start lagging and it's unplayable! I already know how the online works for campagin and spartan ops but it dosent explain my serious lag issue. And about 3 weeks ago when I was playing with the same people on campaign I wasn't lagging :confused: I really can't think of an answer to why it lags like this....help?

Have you gotten a new internet service provider (ISP)? I'd check your connection, see if someone else is using it.

you have to have a hard drive to do co op and spartan ops

Do you have the right ports forwarded on your router? Is this on a console or PC?

I run into the same problem sometimes... Online works perfectly, no lag, until I try doing Spartan Ops. Sometime it's smooth and lag-free, other times... Not so much.

I haven't had those problems. It's likely your router, perhaps starting to break from age. If my connection lagged that was the reason unless it was a high ping server.

Halo 4 uses 2 different network models for online play. when a “client” presses a button, such as ‘jump’, their Xbox sends a signal to the “host” Xbox, telling it what the client player is doing.
