Just now I found a zit that was ready to be popped. Wasn't there this morning and I know that happens. I popped it. A bit of the normal white stuff came out followed immediately by blood. This is not the first time this has happened. I don't know what's worse—a zit or the blood left from popping a zit. Anyone know why this happens?

When pores get infected and swollen, blood is rushed to the area to fight the infection, so there is more blood close to the area of the pore than normal which = bleeding.
if you want acne treatment that works, ask your doctor to see if you can use benzoyl peroxide cream. No otc medication or advertised product will work at all.

Not good to do that man, it will leave ugly scars on your face, just let them be and use some cream or ointment till they heal...

The reason why white stuff comes out from a zit is because it is the puss built up coming out.

Don't pop your zits because you will end up with scars on your face. Use a facial cleanser of some sort to reduce your zits so that you don't get them in the first place. If you have a lot of zits, then use some pimple stuff from the store that can help keep the zits from getting bad.
