I'm quite underweight and I've noticed that I don't eat nearly as much as my friends do. At lunch I always leave one half of my sandwich, and they try to get me to eat it but I just feel full. I am very thin, and you can see my ribs, but my mum's side of the family are all like that, so it could be genetic. It's just so embarrassing when I go to someone's house and end up leaving half of my meal. It's not like I'm small; I'm average height, I just don't have an appetite. Is this an eating disorder or not? I'm so confused :S

An eating disorder is when you deliberately don't eat (as well as many other things) to lose weight. If you aren't doing it deliberately to lose weight, then it doesn't sound like an eating disorder. They're horrible mental disorders that put you through a great deal of stress. If you don't have any mental symptoms, then no I would say you're fine.
Some people are just naturally very thin, and as you said it may be genetic. While BMI's are still only a guide to what weight you should be, I still think eating a bit more might help. It wouldn't hurt to add in an extra snack here and there just to make sure you're at a healthy weight, but on the whole I don't think there's anything for you to worry about :)

as long as you are not depressed, you should be relativity OK

I'm kinda the same except I do have an eating disorder. I can see all of my ribs and really don't have much of a chest. Sometimes though you are like that, where you're naturally skinny. Hopefully your not me and 5-5 and almost 30 pound under weight
