REALLY hairy

I'm 13, and yet my legs are SUPER hairy...

I get called names like "Sexy Legs!!!" all the time and don't know what to do

It is SERIOUSLY affecting my reputation at school.:what:

Well, it's not something you can control at all, so your friends shouldn't be making fun of you for it! They are probably just jeleous anyway!! :cool:
You might try shaving some of the hair (how ever much you want) off, and see if that helps.

Dont be sad about ur friends making fun just cuz u r hairy, probably they are just jealous, cuz at ur age not all the kids are hairy some of them they dont even have pubes

well that's not to bad of a name ( sexy legs ) could be worse . Not much you can do about your hairy legs . You shave them that grow back then there going to dog you for shaving them . So just go with it an there legs will get hairy soon to .

Trust me when I say this, I have the hairiest legs on any person I've ever seen and it's been that way since I was 13. And as you can imagine I was made fun of a lot for it. It's seriously so bad it's like thick black fur you almost can't see through. A lot of people who make fun of you are in fact jealous, and I've found that out in experience and hindsight. The best thing for you to do isn't to shave or anything because then they'll just make fun of you for doing that, plus you'll have let their teasing get the best of you. It may be difficult but you really just need to be confident and proud of the fact that you're so hairy. Laugh along with them, let them see it doesn't bother you and then they'll stop. That's the best advice I can give you.

Just say things like ' You will have hair like me next time then'. I believe mostly people who do it is either jealous or in envy that you got a lot of hair. I myself would too! Usually, people make fun of it for quite a short time. But people will start to respect(not sure if this is the right word) you for that.
Since you're 13, your puberty has started quite early so you might feel awkward around your schoolmates. Get used to it, soon everybody will start to grow up physically.

I get the same problem. Its on genes i think, my father is hairy too. But im still glad, its just on legs and some part under my stomach. Now, I think its cool, not all people have it, maybe they are just jealous on you. Its good to have hair on legs, there not that bad.

I agree with the post above when he said that the others are just jealous that you are more developed than them. People will always go after folks who are different than them. In your case, you are fine because it is not unusual for 13 year olds to have hairy legs. Those people make fun of you now are going to end up with hairy legs themselves in like two years anyway, and you are just ahead of them.

Those folks making fun of you are jerks, and don't let them make you feel bad. You are totally normal, and you should be happy that you are developed because most folks on here have the opposite problem of still looking like little kids well into puberty.

It's normal. Being hairy is fine! I was the only one in my class with leg hair for the longest time, so I've had a similar situation

I am hairy too but never show off my legs, but I used Nair Hair Removal and now I don;t have hair from the neck down.

If you don't like it then shave it, if your fine with it, then keep it. The people making fun are probably just jealous anyway.

There are only 2 things that you can do:
1) Suffer through the teasing and go on about your life.
2) Shave your legs and then take the chance of be made fun of for shaving them.

Usually, If I called someone sexy legs and they had really hairy legs, I would be making fun of them.

The good thing is that you can shave or trim it to keep it to a maintainable length!!!!!! Then those people who make fun of you would stop.

dude, dont worry about it, guys your age are going to be joking about this stuff all through the teen years... they always go after someone who is different, they probably dont mean it to be mean to you, a lot of them are probably jealous. besides, somebody's got to be the first to get leg hair, i was too... and dont shave just because you dont want them to joke, that will only make it worse, they are already well aware that you have hair. just roll with it, trust me the late bloomers get it far worse.

I have had really hairy legs since I was 13 as well. I don't mind it. I like being hairy.
