Do you guys feel that masturbation is an addiction?
How often you masturbate? I masturbate once or twice a week.
I sometimes don't understand how do people masturbate twice daily or once daily. What do you guys even do?
I always tell myself not to masturbate, but i'll end up masturbating.

An addiction is something based upon either an action or substance that increasingly you become dependent either physically or mentally, usually increasing until health becomes deteriorated. Masturbation, unless you do it and eliminate all normal social contacts and outside activities does nothing but release tension and the natural buildup of ejaculate...some of us have no problem cuming 2,3 or 4 times a day, others a few times a week like yourself. Not an addiction, it is therapeutic.

I wouldn't consider it an addiction unless it starts negatively affecting your life/ you feel like you constantly need to do it.

I think you would have to do it way more than once a week before even considering that you might be addicted.

and besides, if you don't masturbate, you can get kind of... backed up...

I usually do it once, maybe twice a day. Its not an addiction, it's more of just hormones taking over. When your a teen is when your hormones are at their highest and it causes you to want to jerk off

If you have good self-control, then it won't be addicting. Just don't get consumed by it.

You're not addicted at all if you're only doing it 3 times a week! Gee, when I was 14 I literally HAD to mb 3 or 4 times every DAY!

But it never interfered with the rest of my life 'cos I went to bed a bit early to give me a bit of extra time to mb myself to sleep. Then I'd always wake up half way through the night with a monstrous erection, & masturbating that always gave me the most beautiful, powerful orgasms. Then waking up in the morning, I always was extremely horny, so again, I had to mb to relieve myself. Then usually in the afternoon I'd be very horny again, so I simply asked to be excused from class to go to the boys room, & that's where I'd mb in a cubicle.

Jacking off is fine as long as it is not interfering with what you got to do. Especially if you are new to masturbating, then you probably are going to jerk off a lot because it is a cool new thing that your penis does. Also, because guys who are in puberty have a lot of hormones get horny a lot which makes them masturbate a lot, too.

I would not worry if you are masturbating multiple times a day because we all did it when we were new to puberty. As your hormones get lower, then you will be fine and will not jack off as much.

As long as masturbating does not take up all of your free time or takes away time from stuff you have to do, then jacking off is normal. All guys do it, and as long as you find that balance, you will be cool.

I guess different folks have different needs. sometimes I j/o every day, sometimes cpl times a week. it differs. I guess it's not an addiction unless it's the only thing you are interested in an invest most of your time in.

I think of it as releasing semen that builds up the same as releasing urine that builds up. I do it when I feel like I need to release semen the same as I pee when I need to. The only time it seems a little excessive is when I do it like three times in a row which has happened few times before. But I think that's just hormones in overdrive than me being a perv or whatever.
