Is it possible to fall in love with someone you're not dating? I. Have been really good friends with a girl for about six months and I think I may be in love with her.

Of course it's possible. Dating or being in a relationship are just social concepts, they don't determine how you feel. You can love someone you're not dating, and you can not love someone you are dating.

Yeah! Love is love, and sometimes it hurts too. But just remember, you shouldn't be girl hopping, because no girl likes that at all!

Absolutely. Sometimes it sucks but other times it can be the best!

"dating," "sleeping with," and "friend" are just social terms that don't have anything to do with how you feel about someone. Yes! It is totally normal for this to happen.

No. Never. You absolutely have to be in a relationship with someone before falling in love...... NOT!!!!!
If you've been friends with someone for months, GOOD friends, then it's natural for you to fall in love. That's the BEST way to fall in love.
The real question is, how do you gauge her interest... and whether or not you're in the "friend zone" (which sux)...
How wide-ranging are your conversations? Are they strictly platonic? Or do you tell each other everything?
And is she dating someone?

If she's not friend zoning you, then man-up, tell her to break up with the BF and go out with you.

...WOMAN! I command you to break off you current thing with that puny man, and date me! Come, now, we date!
Yea, don't do that. That's icky, and rude. Stop flirting with taken girls dude, friend or not, not cool in any regards especially when you think of it like this;
What makes you special?
If you begin dating her, what if she gets a new guy friend?
What if they become so super duper close? What if she speaks to him like she speaks to you?
Then here he comes and says, Woman! Leave him, come with me! And there she goes, playing that vicious cycle.
Just wait. If she wants to be with you, she'll be with you and not with him. But she's not with you, there seems to be a reason for that. Just wait your turn.

I know this one well. My boyfriend and I have been boyfriend/girlfriend for just over a year now. We have been playmates and best friends since we were 6. Our love didn't start with fireworks, it came from friendship, happiness, and laughter. He is still my best friend and makes me happy. My only advice, is keep that friendship alive and strong, love will just make it stronger.

Of course it's possible to love somebody you aren't going out with!! I'm kinda in the exact same situation :/ I reckon that real love always has to start with some kind of friendship, adn though she might be in a relationship now, if you keep hold of the friendship you have with her then it's not gonna go anywhere bad :) A little time can only help your friendship grow ;)
