Hackers claiming to be from the activist group Anonymous have hacked a US government website in response to the death of Aaron Swartz.
Activists embedded a video statement on the homepage of the United States Sentencing Commission, an agency of the US government.
The statement referred to the death of Mr Swartz, an internet activist who apparently killed himself in January.
"Two weeks ago today, a line was crossed," the statement said.
"Two weeks ago today, Aaron Swartz was killed. Killed because he faced an impossible choice. Killed because he was forced into playing a game he could not win."

I love this.
They call someones suicide a murder, because he broke the law and couldn't handle the consequences.

Isn't that like one of the qualifications you have to meet to be a hacker... you can't be afraid to get arrested.

Anonymous isn't secret, an organization, or powerful. It's just a bunch of "hackers" (use the term loosely, anyone can claim to be a "member" of anonymous). They're more of a story for the media than anything.

The problem with Anonymous is that anyione can claim they are part of it,plus if they where so Anonymous ,then the guy that leads them would not have been on tv.
This is just a hoax,or a false flag operation!

You'll think that when a hacker does mess things up and it allows the us to be invaded and you have hostile foreign troops in your town!

I think the reason they do that is because most members keep their identities anonymos, even in the videos you can tell they used software to speak in their videos (Most times)
I also agree with you Victoria, we need new leaders. seems they are changing the very rules the U.S was founded on these days.
